Memoir Of The Present
Made for Trijam #325, a small project about my joys (and a bit of sadness) in my childhood
For my future self(And for you as a player obviously).

Story:
This game is made with some of my childhood memories. I was not as wild and energetic growing up, and I struggled a bit to fit in. After moving because of COVID, I tried to find my passions in a new place. It’s not a sad game by any means, and it’s made for my future self to look back.

I loved the particle effects and the gameplay was a good challenge! I've always wanted to make a game with a forget mechanic and it was neat to see a small part of it here.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you got to the end of the story :D(I was worried that people will click out because of my 1 minute long intro)
For the particle effects I just used an explosion particle effect set up from unity I used for my past couple of games(I think it was the first 2D one when I searched particle explosion I could find it if you want). I'm still experimenting with it, and hopefully I could add more particles(To hide my lack of visuals hehe)
Thanks again!
I enjoyed the story and music in this game. The challenge of trying to get the photos was a little hard. The only real criticism is that the typing sound is very loud and ruins the music at times.
good job 👍
thanks for playing :D
The music is made by Edward Brauns III, an amazing music composer!
I replayed it and you were absolutely right for the keyboard sounds being too loud.(in fact I am uploading a build just now to make it quieter) It’s a great suggestion!
Thanks again!
